Hello all,

 

       My name is Joshua Alexander Johnson and I am here to serve. It has been said time and time again that there is no more powerful word in the english language than "home". Tallahassee is my home. I was born in Tallahassee Memorial Hospital and I have been educated in Leon county from pre school to graduate school. I am one of four children born to Pastor Joseph Johnson Sr. and Lesia Johnson. My parents are small business owners and I grew up seeing first hand what it takes to work hard to provide and save, so that your children might be better off than you. This is the central sentiment of my campaign, to work so that ordinary people like you and me have more avenues with which to provide and save for those who come after us. As a state employee, it has been my great priveledge to work side by side with some of this areas greatest public sectors workers. It has also been very difficult to watch these great state employees do such powerful work and remain so grossly underpaid because of bureacratic power strutures and "lead from behind" policies implemented from those at the top.
